Greg, I sure hope you’re right, as long as it is an everyday player. I sure hope you’re right.

If not, the goods news is that tickets to games will be easy to get and cheap.

Rosenberg instead of Valdes seems pretty possible to me. It would solve the long man problem and the Phillies probably don’t need three lefties in the pen. I’m not really expecting Rosenberg to have a ton of success with the Phillies, though, this year or other year.

I agree that it seems likely several of these guys will be out of the mix before opening day. I’ll be a little surprised if Schwimer is still in the organization in a few months, for example.

If I had to guess right now, Rosenberg makes the team as the long man and Valdes is the first one to get the call if/when injury occurs.

All that being said, I expect a handful of these names to be in other organizations by opening day after RAJ trades for another outfielder.
