I think Bourn is clearly the best option of that group overall — between Bourn and Ellsbury it gets murky. I think a lot depends on how important you think Victorino’s bad 2012 season was. A lot of people are going to think it was pretty important.

Not sure I agree that’s he’s a guy to be avoided — I think he’s a little better than that. He also hit 287/367/415 away from Denver in 2011 before putting up dramatic home/away splits last year. Not great, but not awful.

He definitely shouldn’t be playing center field, at Coors or anywhere else, and that probably means he’s not a good match for the Phillies.

I also think that right now, Frandsen is the best option to start at third base for the Phillies and play every day. That is not good news.
