Galvis at third would work better, but he would be terrible offensively for a 3B. I am convinced he can play defense, though.

I can’t remember what he was hitting, but he did it on steroids. If he’s clean next year, does he hit for less average?

Defensively excellent. But we need offense too. A lot of offense. Not sure this gang can afford to concede any of the slots in the everyday lineup.

Have no idea if Chase at third works, but even if it does I cannot see what it gains us. Is there a surfeit of good second basemen free agents out there? Can’t think who they’d be.

Hopefully I’m wrong, but even if I am I sure would prefer the Phillies let him learn how to hit in the minors. At this point he has a career .292 on-base percentage in the minors to go with his .254 in the majors.
