Yeah, some AL team has to want Thome. Or, as I suggested yesterday, it would be better if the NL adopted the DL rule as long as Thome plays for us.

Will be interesting to see what the Phillies do with Thome after the three games. I don’t think he can stay with the Phils to just pinch-hit if he really can’t play the field. I didn’t even feel sure he was going to start the game at DH last night against a lefty.

Some AL team has to think he could help them at DH, no?

Amazing what happens when a team has a legitimate clean up hitter instead of AAA players or right fielders without the stones to do it.
