Thinking that the team isn’t real good isn’t really the same thing as watching it not be real good. Harder to watch.

I agree that help is needed soon. Glad to see Kendrick pitch well and the pen pitch well. Valdes looks like he might be able to help. That would be good.

It’s rarely literally winning every other game. And .500 is what we expect until new pieces arrive.

I was going to give them 40 games and hope the plan had emerged by then. There’s really only two plans that work for me: 1) Howard and Utley come back and play like Howard and Utley or 2) the Phils add a couple of good new players.

I’m ready to see one of those things happen soon. That and less talking about whose fault it is they are where they are right now. More fixing, less faulting. Soon.

So that’s good. Still 7-3 in their last ten despite losing the last two to Boston.

The Phils are going to need to beat good teams sooner or later. Hopefully sooner.

Will be at the park tonight. Gio vs. Kendrick. Will be interested to see if the recent slight offensive pulse the Phillies have shown will continue. It would sure be nice to see against some better teams.
