Haha.. it seems like every time I start to have faith in Joe, he goes out and lays an egg. Which is why I feel like I'm done with him. But if Roy needs some extended time off, while Cliff is still out and Joe is traded, the rotation starts looking thin in a hurry.

But yes, there's probably about 27 teams that would love to have Joe as their #3, at minimum.

Joe is sneaky about being as good as he is. It is possible that we are spoiled, given the level of pitching that we see every day. While we do not take it for granted, it makes it hard for us to give guys like Blanton credit for the quality that they do have. We may be just a tad jaded. And maybe we have our bar set pretty high. Now, I LIKE a high bar. But I betcha there are a passel of teams who would love to have Joe as a #3. SOME might wish they had him for a #2.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... trsde him? Keep him? Delicious problem for us to have. Why, it is the kind of discussion that can keep a blog running for days on end.

I was thinking the same thing about people with a plane to catch, Greg. Especially after 28 runs last night. Game started at 12:10, too.

I agree about Halladay looking weird last night. And that Blanton was pretty amazing today, too. Funny that Blanton has the first complete game of the year.

Greg, I was also thinking "Trade Blanton!" But then I thought, "What if Halladay needs a break?" It's tough.

I don't think Strasburg vs. Kendrick is in our favor.

Yeah. Doc looked red faced and laboring, just like in that game last year. I just wonder what's up. Heat exhaustion can wreck you.

Blanton today was surgical. And man did the bullpen need the rest.

I wonder what is going on. I'm guessing we'll know sometime, but maybe not for a while. He definitely looked wrong last night. To me, looked hotter and more out of breath than the rest of the people playing.

It reminded me of game five of the 2010 NLCS against the Giants. Halladay looked wrong and sick in that game, too.
