I agree he’s not helping the team much and doesn’t look likely to any time soon. If the Rollins play had been a double-play instead of an error, Contreras faces three in a scoreless inning. Didn’t happen, of course, but Schwimer killed Contreras’s line by letting the first two men he faced reach as well.

Not saying Contreras pitched well. Just saying.
