Um, no.

The good news is that Freddie leads the team in extra base hits.

Unfortunately, that is also the bad news.

Do can we have a lottery to pick the day that Charlie finally explodes and sends the clubhouse up in sheets of fire?

I am struggling to find something to say, especially after yesterday's game. Yesterday was 1961 Phillies baseball (do NOT check back.. it was worse than you can imagine). Yesterday was so bad, I am hoping that it is an aberration and not a new way of life. So, I am going to forget about trying to find something to say about it. I am going to write it off as just something that happens. And forget it.

Let me try this thought out on y'all. I am watching Charlie do the mix-and-match lineup routine. With absolutely no success. What do you think about Charlie simply picking a starting lineup and sticking with it. No mix and match. Minimal platooning, if any at all. Just pick a lineup and let it settle. Let the guys he picks get some at bats, and not lose their place if they have a bad game. Mayberry plays first. Polly at third. Pierre in left. Galvis at second.

Lineup:
Jimmy leads off
Pierre hits two
Victorino hits three
Mayberry hits four
Pence hits five
Chooch hits six
Glavis hits seven
Polly hits eight
