I go back and forth in my mind a out the 2012 roster. On one side, bring everyone back but left field. On the other, redo the whole left side and trade Victorino for serious, young and hungry guys.

I think the Phils need to rethink wearing those ‘medical’ necklaces all of a sudden in the postseason too. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say they aren’t helping…

I’m looking at the repeating trend. Lost 2007 NLDS, won 2008 WS. So, lose 2011 NLDS, 2012 ????

Well, there’s the contrary trend running simultaneously: the regular season win total has increased each year. Either one of those trends breaks in 2012, or the Wild Card will have over 103 wins.

Yeah, it’s kind of going in the wrong direction: 2009 lose in the World Series. 2010 lose in the NLCS. 2011 lost in the NLDS. Hopefully that doesn’t mean that in 2012 the Phils miss the playoffs altogether.
