I agree that Mayberry has been a lot of fun to watch recently. If he keeps hitting home runs at this rate he doesn’t even need to walk more. Sadly, that’s unlikely, but it’s still a great show for now.

If they hit like this or anything close to it, I cannot imagine how they can be beaten. Rained out, maybe, but not beaten. And one can almost see Mayberry’s desire. He WANTS a job, not frequent flyer miles between Philly and Reading. It is fun to see him do this.

Great to see. Mayberry is a monster. So is Victorino. I still don’t feel real comfortable about the bullpen and Stutes didn’t do much to help that last night. A lot of other stuff is going well, though. More than three runs in seven games in a row for the Phils now — I think they can win a lot of games if they keep hitting.
