It would be awfully hard to justify sending him back to AAA at this point, regardless of who’s coming off the DL..

I totally agree that a whole lot of balls seem to fall right in front of him with him pulling up short. I think he’ll get better. I think he can throw, too.

All for Utley doubling all the time. If we could just get Howard to join him.

I would be absolutely stunned if the Phillies make a trade in which they get Beltran and trade away Brown. I’d guess there’s close to no chance (which usually means it happens later the same afternoon). We’ll see. I’d be less stunned to see Mayberry traded somewhere.
