It is possible that Brown may not have to wait till next year. He has lost that awkward gamin look in left. And he does look pretty good at the plate. Plus, right now he really hasn’t much competition in either corner. I can see why he has been an untouchable as far as trading prospects goes.

And, yeah. Pitching is pretty amazing to watch. What a staff.

I loved brown when he played with the Lakewood BlueClaws he really added something extra to the team. Hopefully he can make the same impact with the big boys and get a starting spot for next year.

Me too. It sure is fun to watch them pitch, though. Interesting to see Brown start against the lefty last night. He’s been great so far, so hopefully he can help. I thought it was a good idea putting Francisco in left, too, not that it helped them score a whole ton of runs.

The pattern continues. Score one more run but get out hit. That’s sure better than the other way around, and we have the best record in all of baseball. The regular season sure seems secure.

The postseason? Gonna be a little more problematic. Geez, I wish these guys would start to hit.
