No matter what Brown does, it is time to give the man the job. If his first year is not what everyone expected, he would have good company; check out Michael Jack’s first year numbers. He turned out ok for us. It is just time.

Yeah, I wonder if that word came down from a source above Amaro. Amaro is normally good at hiding his true thoughts but speaking about his own player like that and then all of a sudden he is up. interesting. Time to see what he can do. I hope he gets some regular playing time. Cant wait for lineups tonight with a rather good lefty on the mound. Should be a recipe for loads and loads of Phillie runs!

Forty pitches for Mathieson means he can’t pitch for a while, which is my guess on why they sent him down.

Brown up, indeed. Still not a fan of saying the guy isn’t ready four hours before calling him up.
