I think Chooch is going to the DL. We'll see.

I agree that I like Orr a lot more than I was expecting to. But hitting .320 or so can do that. Still, so far, so good.

You're probably right about Orr. There has to be SOME reason he has not made it to the majors before this. But for some reason, the guy appeals to me as a fan. I like his speed; somehow speed has always impressed me as really important in baseball. I guess that as a kid I watched maury Wills beat our heads in for too many years; it left an impression. And I like his attitude. Of course, if he dwells at the Mendoza Line for protracted parts of the year, the charm just may wear off for me.

The Chooch thing worries me for sure. Back problems and catching seem mutually exclusive to me. The guys they may have to call up if chooch goes down will make us look at Valdez as the second coming of Joe Morgan... er, Chase Utley.

Me too. I don't know what it is about Rollins, but when he hits it feels like the Phils are rolling.

I'm pretty curious to see what the Phils do with Mayberry/Ibanez in left against righties over the next few games and with Orr/Valdez at second against righties. I think Mayberry might get some significant at-bats. It will be interesting to see what he does with them. The Orr thing seems harder. I'm pretty convinced the Valdez can field but not hit. Orr has been great in limited time this year, but I think if you give him enough at-bats against righties he's going to show he can't hit much better than Valdez against them. We'll see.

OK...so Mayberry walked twice and Rollins upped his RBIs by 150% in the same game. I love this game.
