At least Halladay is still Superman and Valdez hit into another double-play, reassuring us we haven’t gone beyond thunderdome or anything. It’s grounding.

Six of the eight regulars for the Phillies are on-basing at least .380. That’s good. Francisco .354 and Ibanez .313.
