Honestly? I was stunned at Joe’s performance. These guys are not the Rockies. Or the Braves. Or the Giants. Or the Yanks. What he did is inexplicable. And scary. If I am Kyle Kendrick, I am licking my chops.
If Joe wants to do long relief, he hastaken one giant step towards accomplishing that goal. Absolutely, unbelievably, career destroyingly inexcusable.

If his point is that he hasn’t been very effective pitching from the stretch, I agree. He’s going to need to get a lot better at pitching from the stretch or stop doing it so often to be effective. Less base-runners would help.
