Man, this is a new way to play ball. Monster pitching and a bunch of spray hitters. Of course, it is only the 7th, but this is WAY different thn what we have watched for the last few years. (NB: this is not a complaint.)

I really love it that Valdez and Mayberry did what they did. I just love it. Here’s hoping they make it habit forming. It would do this team a whole wide world of good.

Clutch hits by Valdez and Mayberry.. I could get used to that..

You see here what the Phils see in Valdez. This happened a lot last year. He may have batted .240 or so, but it’s like his BA RISP was .600 and his BA otherwise was .000.
