I agree about the spring training record being good. Also, Francisco and Halladay had really fantastic springs. I was glad to see Mayberry fare so well, too, and the guys in the bullpen pitched great.

It’s a little tough to see through all the Utley out-for-a-long-time, though.

For all the worry, these guys still have played out a pretty good spring training record. While these games do not count, I am glad they did not have the reverse record.

I am ready for games that count. My first tickets are next Tuesday. I am really ready. World Series or bust.

I’m kind of excited about Castillo. Not holding my breath, but I think there’s a chance he could be good. I’m with you on no Utley before the break, sadly enough.

I get it that we are not excited about Castillo. But we better pray to God he can find new life in red pin stripes. I bet we do not see Utley before the All Star break.

Of course, all of this is just prattle. I just found out that the Sports Illustrated Baseball Preview issue has the ENTIRE Phillies pitching staff and most of the team on its cover. WE ARE DOOMED.
