I agree on each point. Stutes has been impressive.

It does seem like there are big offensive problems for the team. I agree about the tight, low scoring games and I don't think the bullpen is very good. Madson is the only guy I think they're going to put out there who is exceptional. That could be a problem if they don't score much.

I think the Phils need to trade for a hitter. I think they will, too. I just hope it's sooner rather than later.

On Quinlan, I guess his right-handedness made it a little less of a surprise. Still seems like there are lots of opportunities on the Phillies for anyone who can hit. I also continue to be interested in what Josh Barfield does. I think there may be hidden upside there. I think Young is going to make the team now, but I think we have a clearer idea on what he will bring. Michael Martinez would still be more than I can handle. Mayberry sure has had a nice spring.

Glad to see the team starting to win games, even if they are meaningless. I'm still really worried about scoring runs once the games start counting. There will be a lot of 2-1, 3-2 type games this year.

Nice to see Stutes is staying with the team for a bit longer. Hopefully he continues to impress, if for no other reason more depth. Somewhat surprised the Quinlan requested his release. No real surprises in the rest of the group.
