It will be OK D. As they say, there is always next year. Personally, I did get my money’s worth this year. Although I consider it wasted money, i still felt like it was spent on something that mattered at the time.

Day after series failure is tough to take but what makes it worse is all the chances and not just game 6. Something like 8-45 RISP for the series, just terrible but if we look back over the past two seasons, I seem to remember that always coming up in conversations when the Phils slump. They slumped hard in the playoffs with the bats.

More in the coming days/weeks/months/106 odd days until pitchers and catchers report but this morning I’m already looking ahead. The phils have superb pitching coming back, they need a few tweaks in the BP and I think we are all waiting to see what happens to Werth and if he does leave, who we gonna get? Lets just get all the boys healthy over the break here and do this thing all over again. As I sit here fully depressed, I still have a lot of hope for next season. This team can bounce back.

Nope. To me the toughest to take is a slap hitter masquerading as a clean up hitter; we did not get our money’s worth here. And the invisible man on second.

It feels just as crappy this morning as it did last night. Geezus, am I bummed.

Ugh. That was brutal. Francisco strikes out in the sixth and Ruiz lining into the double-play were they toughest to take. Quite a season, though. Think we got our money’s worth.
