Huge hit to let the Phils take advantage of the errors. Great at-bat by Ibanez to start the inning. Glad to see Arroyo have to throw extra pitches. I was sure Howard was going to hit one out. Didn't happen.

Here you go with lineup for tonight
http://cincinnati.com/blogs/reds/2010/10/08/reds-lineup-for-nlds-game-2/

Reds: (1) Phillips (2) Cabrera (3) Votto (4) Rolen (5) Nix (6) Bruce (7) Stubbs (8) Hanigan. Nix in left for Gomes cause he kills Oswalt for his career and Hanigan catches for Hernandez. Lefties in the order at 3, 5 and 6 for the Reds, so we might be seeing Romero or Bastardo face a string late in the game. Hopefully Oswalt goes nine, but we'll see.

I'm actually glad to see Hernandez out of the lineup given his 5-for-11 with a home run against Oswalt for his career. Hanigan is 0-for-1 with two walks against Oswalt.

The Phillies lineup will go (1) Victorino (2) Polanco (3) Utley (4) Howard (5) Werth (6) Rollins (7) Ibanez (8) Ruiz. Surprised to see Rollins dropped, I assumed he would lead off throughout. Rollins shouldn't hit above Ibanez, that's just a mistake. Rollins 218/297/360 against righties for the year, Ibanez 277/366/455. Seems like there should be some incentive to pitch around Werth in a big situation, even as bad as he looked in game one. If Victorino and Polanco hit one and two in the order, it should be the other way around.

It's not exactly an easy draw for Werth, given that Arroyo was murder on righties this year and Werth hasn't faced him. Would it be too much to ask for to have MLB suspend the rules so the Reds can trade for Scott Olson and start him tonight? Werth has handled him -- 11-for-24 with four home runs for his career.
