Madson to DL, Phils call up Clay Condrey

The Phillies put Ryan Madson on the 15-day DL yesterday with a strained left oblique and called up Clay Condrey from Triple-A. In four games with Triple-A Ottawa this season, Condrey has thrown to a 3.52 ERA, allowing seven hits and six walks while striking out ten in 7 2/3 innings.
Condrey appeared in three games with the Phillies this season before being designated for assignment on April 14 and sent to Triple-A on April 18. In three games with the Phillies he's thrown to a 2.25 ERA, allowing three hits in four innings while striking out five.
