2-for-3 with a double. Coste and Dobbs were both 0-for-1.
Brett Myers got the start for the Phils and went three innings, allowing two
runs on two solo homers while striking out four. Justin Germano allowed a
single in his scoreless frame. JA Happ allowed one hit in two scoreless
innings. Madson pitched the seventh and allowed a two-run home run. Lefty
Jim Crowell, a 32-year-old NRI, threw a scoreless eighth. Alfonsenca threw
the ninth, allowing a leadoff double but setting down the next three men in
order to end the game.
Aaron Fultz pitched the fourth for the Indians and set down Victorino, Utley
and Howard 1-2-3.
The Phillies play the Red Sox this afternoon.
