The Phillies and Chase Utley have agreed to a seven-year, $85 million contact.
Utley was arguably the best second baseman in baseball last season. He hit 307/379/527 with 32 home runs and 127 RBI. He was second in the National League in hits with 203.
Brett Myers and Geoff Geary are the two remaining Phillies eligible for arbitration.
